Ingredients Explained:
0,03 (300ppm) Food Grade Hydrogen Peroxide (H2O2)
Hydrogen peroxide is a bacteria and yeast-killing antiseptic. Hydrogen peroxide is produced by Lactobacillus bacteria in the vagina and is part of the biological activity against yeast, according to the CDC.
This is a wonderful as it kills both bacteria and fungus.
Tea Tree Essential oil (50ppm)
Also known as melaleuca oil, is a popular essential oil that has the longest history of medicinal uses. Its known antimicrobial and antifungal properties may be helpful in treating yeast infections at home.
In fact, tea tree oil has shown to be promising in fighting the funguses that cause yeast infections, including Candida albicans, the strain that accounts for 85% to 90% of cases of vaginal yeast infections
- Antiseptic
- Anti-Inflammatory
- Antifungal
Lemongrass Essential oil (50ppm)
Superficial mycoses of the skin are among the most common dermatological infections, and causative organisms include dermatophytic, yeasts, and non-dermatophytic filamentous fungi. The treatment is limited, for many reasons.
Lemongrass oil exhibited the most effective killing activity among the tested oils. Lemongrass oil possessed antibiofilm activity. Lemongrass oil and its major constituents can inhibit germ tube formation.
Use of essential oils for controlling Candida albicans growth has gained significance due to the resistance acquired by pathogens toward a number of widely used drugs.
Oregano Essential oil (50ppm)
Oregano essential oil may be a more powerful antifungal than other commercial products that are available, and can inhibit and treat fungal skin infections, including athlete’s foot and ringworm.
Yeast is a type of fungus. It can be harmless, but overgrowth can result in gut problems and infections, such as thrush. In test-tube studies, oregano essential oil has been found to be effective against five different types of Candida, such as those that cause infections in the mouth and vagina. Carvacrol, one of the key components in oregano oil, has also been shown to reduce inflammation.
Thyme Essential oil (50ppm)
Thymol is one of a naturally occurring class of compounds known as biocides. These are substances that can destroy harmful organisms, such as infectious bacteria. Used alongside other biocides, such as carvacrol, thyme has strong antimicrobial properties.
The fungus Candida albicans (C. albicans) is a common cause of yeast infections in the mouth and vagina, a recurring condition called “thrush.”
Researchers at the University of Turin, Italy, found that essential oil of thyme significantly enhanced the destruction of the C. albicans fungus in the human body.
Scientists from Leeds, England, tested the effects of myrrh, marigold, and thyme tinctures on Propionibacterium acnes (P. acnes), the bacterium that causes acne. They found that thyme might be effective in treating acne.
Calendula Essential Oil (100ppm)
This study tested in vitro activity of the essential oil from flowers of Calendula officinalis using disk-diffusion techniques. The antifungal assay results showed for the first time that the essential oil has good potential antifungal activity: it was effective against all 23 clinical fungi strains tested.
Calendula is beneficial for any wound healing you may need including insect bites, bruises, blisters, cuts, and cold sores.
Topical application of Calendula is used to keep wounds clean and help new tissue to grow. It is often used to help poorly healing wounds, those that are exhibiting signs of tenderness, redness, or inflammation, to correct course. It may be applied to wounds to reduce swelling and their antimicrobial components, specifically their antifungal agents, can prevent secondary infection, leading to a quicker healing process.
Reducing Scarring
One of the prominent Calendula benefits is its ability to reduce scarring when used to treat wounds. The Calendula properties that benefit wound healing apply to the scarring process as well. Calendula increases blood flow to the injury, promotes a speedy and healthy healing process, free of infection, and encourages growth of healthy new tissue. In the cases of skin ulcers like chicken pox and acne, the herb softens and soothes the skin, preventing inflammation, boosting the immune response, which allows wounds to heal quickly and cleanly.
Green Tea Extract (20ppm)

Green tea and wound healing
Within 15 minutes of exposure of C. albicans to green tea, the average number of colonies reduced to one-third of the initial mean value. Anti-bacterial and anti-viral activities of catechins against different viral and bacterial pathogens have been demonstrated.
EGCG is also known to regulate the secretion of cytokines and the activation of skin cells during wound healing. In fact, several studies suggest that green tea extracts enhance wound healing in full thickness by accelerating cell infiltration, re-epithelialization, and angiogenesis. But green tea also has anti-infective properties, which additionally enhances wound healing. Especially its antibacterial effects have been intensively analyzed and it has been shown that green tea is effective against numerous bacteria including multidrug-resistant strains such as methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA).
Artemisia Annua (Mugwort) (100ppm)
Artemisinins, New Miconazole Potentiators Resulting in Increased Activity against Candida albicans Biofilms. Thanks to its soothing, anti-inflammatory properties, mugwort targets dry, irritated skin effectively.
You can also use a wormwood tincture externally for wound cleansing and treating insect bites. Other wormwood benefits include:
- Anti-inflammatory
- Anti-pyretic (fever reducer)
- Anti-microbial & Anti-fungal (kills bacteria, viruses, and funguses)
- Anti-parasitic (kills parasites)
Prunella Vulgaris
Prunella vulgaris (PV) is a perennial herb belonging to the Labiate family and is widely distributed in the northeastern Asian countries such as Korea, Japan, and China. It is reported to display diverse biological activities including anti-microbial, anti-cancer, and anti-inflammation as determined by in vitro or in vivo studies. So far, about 200 compounds have been isolated from PV plant and a majority of these have been characterized mainly as triterpenoids, sterols and flavonoids, followed by coumarins, phenylpropanoids, polysaccharides and volatile oils.
Prunella vulgaris is an herb that has been used to treat illnesses for centuries, also known as “heal-all” due to its traditional use in healing wounds, throat infections, and several other ailments.
Prunella vulgaris is often cited as a possible treatment for the herpes simplex virus (HSV), which is marked by contagious sores around your mouth or genitals. In addition to blocking the virus from spreading, Prunella vulgaris may protect against herpes by stimulating the activity of immune cells like macrophages, which help your body fight infection.
