A study found that only very low concentrations (0.03% solution, this is a dilution of typical 3% Peroxide by 100 times) may induce healing.


Lavender Essential Oil (50ppm)


Lavender oil is believed to have antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties, which can help to heal minor burns and bug bites.

A study published in the Journal of Medical Microbiology found that lavender oil could be effective in combating antifungal-resistant infections. The study showed that Lavandula oil is potent and demonstrates antifungal activity on a wide spectrum.

These studies demonstrated a faster rate of wound healing, increased expression of collagen, and enhanced activity of proteins involved in the tissue remodeling process in wounds treated with lavender essential oil.

The plant is historically known for its medicinal properties, especially for calming and soothing the skin. In aromatherapy, sage oil is infamous for delivering feelings of balance and relaxation. And recently, the topical benefits of this essential oil have proven to be effective as an ingredient in cosmetics, eliminating toxins, diminishing the appearance of blemishes, and relieving skin irritation.

Heal wounds – Bacterial strains, such as burns, skin abrasions, and infections, may find possible treatments through the application of sage oil. It helps eliminate toxins and is both antimicrobial and antibacterial. Along with having antibacterial properties, the essential oil may contain antifungal effects, which can be effective for treating dermatitis and Athlete’s foot.
